Condenamos y repudiamos el ataque que ha instrumentado el Estado como parte de su política de represión hacia los movimientos sociales, en contra del municipio autónomo de San Juan Copala.
Denunciamos la indolencia con la que ha actuado el Estado ante el ataque a la caravana de solidaridad internacional por parte de grupos paramilitares y los asesinatos de los compañeros Beatriz Cariño, Tyti Antero Jaakkola (adherentes a La Otra Campaña) Timoteo Alejandro Ramírez (dirigente reconocido de su comunidad) y de su esposa.
Responsabilizamos de estos crímenes al Gobierno Federal a cuya cabeza se encuentra Felipe Calderón, a la Secretaría de Gobernación, al gobernador Ulises Ruiz, al grupo paramilitar de UBISORT y a todos aquellos que resulten responsables.
Nos queda claro que la intención es exterminar el esfuerzo de lucha autónoma e independiente de los compañeros triquis por lo que damos toda nuestra solidaridad y apoyo en las actividades y acciones que sean necesarias para demandar alto a la represión, para romper el cerco paramilitar y el castigo a los responsables materiales e intelectuales.
Hacemos un llamado a los demás adherentes a La Otra Campaña, a manifestarnos y solidarizarnos con los compañeros triquis del municipio autónomo de San Juan Copala, a exigir respeto irrestricto a su autonomía y organización: apoyo al plantón instalado en el Zócalo, recabar acopio para llevar al Municipio Autónomo, participar en la caravana humanitaria “Bety Cariño y Jyri Jaakkola” del día 8 de junio y a manifestarnos en los estados y en los países donde sea posible, ese mismo día de manera simultánea, a las 8 a.m.
